We are seeking to appoint an Academic Learning Mentor to guide and support students across curriculum areas with a particular emphasis in the English department.
Your normal hours of work will be from 8.30am until 3.30pm from Monday to Friday with a daily unpaid mid-morning break of 20 minutes and unpaid lunch break of 40 minutes.
Essential qualifications:

Archway school is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from individuals with protected characteristics such as age, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, disability, race including colour, nationality or ethnicity, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
As part of our due diligence for safer recruitment, the school may carry out online searches for shortlisted candidates to help identify any incidents or issues which may need to be explored at interview. The searches would be made on open-source information and may include, but will not be limited to, the main social networking sites, including Instagram and Facebook.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and therefore expects all staff and volunteers to share this same commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and this position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
Please note we are unable to provide feedback to applicants who are not shortlisted for interview and reserve the right to withdraw the vacancy should we receive sufficient applications prior to the published closing date.
