Summary
The North East’s leading independent girls’ day school has an exciting opportunity to appoint Exam Invigilators to work at our Senior School site in Jesmond.
We are looking for people who have time available during term-time to work as Exam Invigilators. You will be working on a casual basis to supervise students taking school examinations and to ensure that exams are carried out according to the rules set out by the exam board.
You will need to be enthusiastic, well-organised, punctual and able to communicate effectively with students and staff alike. Days of work vary according to the examination timetables; prior notice of the specific dates required is given in advance. Availability is needed from 8:00am for morning exams and 1:00pm until 4:30pm for afternoon exams.
As an Invigilator, you will play a key part in supporting students during their examinations by ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly and that the exam environment remains calm, fair, and well organised. No experience is necessary as we will provide full training. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us. Applicants need to be 18 years of age or older to apply for this role and will undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.
