Summary
The School:St Philip’s is a successful Catholic primary school, with ‘Good’ judgements from our last Ofsted inspection. It is a welcoming, happy and dynamic school, where relationships between adults and children are positively fostered and valued. The Role:
We are looking for an organised individual to be part of our well-established and very effective Office Team. The role involves managing the diary, admissions and general office duties all of which includes liaising with staff, pupils, parents and visitors; administering first aid; maintaining manual and computerised records: producing reports using the school management information system. The position requires prioritising a demanding and varied workload in a very busy office environment.Hours: 20 hours per week, 8.00am - 12 midday, term time only
Salary: Grade 3, point 3-4 (£12.85-£13.05 per hour)The Person:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Good verbal and written communication skills
IT skills (knowledge of word, excel, publisher, powerpoint, email)
Strong organisational skills
Self-motivation and a proactive approach
Discretion and confidentiality
Ability to form good working professional relationships
Experience:
