Tate are working with a public sector organisation in their search for a dynamic Facilities Manager to start ASAP and lead the smooth, compliant and customer‑focused running of their site

Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping buildings fully compliant through effective planned maintenance and strong contractor management
- Ensuring day‑to‑day FM services run seamlessly with excellent customer care
- Managing security procedures, access, inductions and equipment
- Leading minor projects including office moves, refurbishments and plant replacement
- Monitoring space utilisation and suggesting improvements
- Using CAFM systems to plan, track and optimise FM activity
- Overseeing inspections, incident reporting and remedial actions
- Ensuring risk assessments are up to date and acted upon
- Supporting emergency planning and business continuity
- Tailoring office accommodation to customer needs
- Managing and developing the Deputy Facilities Manager and Facilities Assistants
- Managing expenditure within budget
- Following procurement and financial processes
- Driving value through robust contract and KPI management
Experience:
- Strong facilities management experience, ideally across public or multi‑site environments
- NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualifications
- Confident line management and contractor management skills
- Excellent communication, IT literacy and knowledge of building services
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with high standards and attention to detail
- The ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team
