About the Role
We have 2 positions available. 1 fixed-term contract until March 2027 and 1x fixed-term contract until December 2026.
The post holder will promote perinatal mental health, focusing on strong attachments between parent/carer and their infant, promoting positive infant mental health inclusive of early intervention prior to birth, in the form of assessment, risk management, formulation, individual therapeutic interventions, and professional consultation.
Through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, the post holder will support parents and carers and promote positive infant and parental mental health.
The post holder will also use their specialist knowledge and skills to develop understanding and early identification of attachment concerns and perinatal mental health difficulties across the wider partnership.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Specialist knowledge and understanding of child development, brain development and the emotional and mental health needs of infants, parents and their families.
· Specialist knowledge and skills in delivering therapeutic interventions to promote parental mental health and promote positive attachment
· Ability to deliver evidence based therapeutic interventions and ensure these are safe and nurturing, inclusive, and compliment the wider support from other services
· Experience of working with vulnerable infants, children, young people and adults, from a variety of backgrounds, in an outcome focused way.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
