Summary
Responsible for the development, planning and co-ordination of specialist treatment within a ward or department. Assess patients, plan, implement and manage care. Carry out specialist nursing procedures. Provide specialist advice to patients and carers. Undertake research and lead clinical audits in specialist area. May be required to supervise a team of nursing/therapist and support staff.
