Crynodeb
To provide clinical/medical leadership, advice and operational direction for both clinical and non-clinical teams within the service as part of the management team. To deliver drug and alcohol clinical and prescribing services to the service population including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Key Accountabilities (List of accountabilities specific to this role) Provide clinical leadership, advice, and operational direction for both clinical and nonclinical teams within the service and wider primary care colleagues in respect of all medical aspects of care. Develop and lead on specialist treatment pathways/clinics, within the service, for those with cooccurring mental health conditions Undertake service user centred assessments, including relevant psychiatric and physical investigation, monitoring, evaluation and reviews in service and outreach settings. Undertake the initial review, triage and ongoing support of complex dual diagnosis/presentation including pregnancy and young people Support the clinical team through individual clinical reviews to support discussion and the development of a safe and effective treatment plan. Work in conjunction with the clinical team to deliver and manage specialist care and treatment to those with a mental health condition. Provide clinical and specialist psychiatric input to inform and influence clinical culture, quality and standards, and implementation of clinical models. Lead in-service Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings.
