If you are looking for a deeper commitment, our long-term placements (£150 - £220 per day) offer the chance to lead a department through maternity or contract cover, involving full planning, GCSE coaching, and oral exam preparation.
Key Responsibilities-
Linguistic Excellence: Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4, focusing on the four key skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

Cultural Immersion: Use creative resources to bring the culture of target-language countries to life, making lessons relevant and exciting.

GCSE Preparation: Support Year 11 students with intensive grammar workshops and speaking practice to ensure exam success.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to practice their speaking skills.

Assessment: Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students bridge learning gaps.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant language (French, Spanish, or German).

Experience: A proven track record of teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).

Communication: Native or near-native fluency in at least one modern foreign language.

Adaptability: The ability to step into new departments and quickly build rapport with students.

Compliance: A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
