Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Support: Assist in planning and executing vibrant lessons that are adapted for various student abilities.

  • Academic Development: Help pupils understand curriculum topics and develop essential scholastic skills.

  • Inclusive Environment: Foster a nurturing and welcoming classroom culture that promotes participation and a love for learning.

  • Progress Tracking: Observe and record student growth, providing the required assistance and helpful feedback.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: Hands-on, non-teaching experience supporting pupils within a school environment.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills to relay instructions and understand student needs.

  • Clinical/Practical Care: Previous experience working in schools, including familiarity with personal care tasks.

  • Disposition: The ability to stay calm and patient when working with students who have different learning speeds, needs, and behaviours.

  • Compliance: A current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for a new one immediately.

  • Right to Work: Legal authorisation to work in the UK.

  • Start Date: Ready to begin employment straight away.
