Summary

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals with Learning Disabilities and 0r Autism in a day opportunities setting The role involves supporting clients with in house and community daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a respectful and caring environment. Prior experience in Learning Disabilities and Autism is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised support and caregiving.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care.
Support clients within the Community
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Engage clients in meaningful session planned activities in house and within the community.
Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases of Learning Disabilities and or Autism
Driving Licence Essential
Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and report any concerns promptly
Experience

Previous experience in a Learning Disabilities and Autism is preferred
Knowledge of Learning Disabilities and Autism care practices is advantageous
Care certificate or relevant qualification is desirable or can be achieved in post.
This role requires a caring attitude, organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be committed to providing respectful and person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs.
