Summary
Applications are invited for a substantive post in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare at Hillingdon Community Clinics (1 post), part of the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an ethnically diverse areas of the UK with a team renowned for innovation in health care.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the Consultants in the delivery of the highest standards of patient care and service developments.
Requirements for the Post
The appointee will be expected to work with the Consultants (Dr Samantha Hitchings and Dr Luciana Rubinstein), medical, nursing and administrative colleagues to provide Contraceptive and STI management care within an Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service
Also he/she will need to:
· Provide safe and effective care in line with departmental and national guidelines
· Help to facilitate the departmental audit programme.
· Teach GP trainees, undergraduate medical students, and nurses in clinic
Clinical duties will include:
· Provision of contraceptive and sexual health clinics, including a dedicated Young People’s clinic
· Work towards providing a fully integrated sexual health service with an emphasis on contraceptive provision and STI management
