The Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and time-served Pipelayer to start this Monday on a new development project in Edinburgh. The role involves managing the installation of essential drainage and utility infrastructure during the early phases of the build.
This is a fast-paced site requiring an operative who is self-sufficient and capable of working to tight engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:-
Drainage Installation: Laying foul and surface water drainage pipes (concrete and plastic) to required specifications.

Levels & Laser Work: Setting out runs and achieving precise falls and inverts using pipe lasers and optical levels.

Trench Support: Working safely alongside machine operators, ensuring all trench shoring and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Manhole Construction: Building and finishing manholes, inspection chambers, and headwalls as needed.

Utility Ducting: Laying utility corridors for gas, water, and electric services.

Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card is essential).

Proven Experience: Demonstrable track record in deep drainage and residential/commercial pipe laying.

Tickets: Relevant plant tickets (e.g., Forward Tipping Dumper or Roller) are a bonus.

Reliability: Must be able to commit to the full month and provide excellent site references.

Local: Based in or around Edinburgh for a reliable daily commute.
