- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND
- Create inclusive learning environments that promote engagement and independence
- Work closely with support staff to implement personalised strategies and interventions
- Assess learner progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
- Develop and review individual education plans
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND across a range of needs
- Strong understanding of strategies for supporting SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other learning differences
- Confident behaviour management skills tailored to individual learners
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources effectively
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
