Summary
This role will join the existing team to deliver community paediatric services to the children and families in Buckinghamshire. The Community Paediatricians in the North of the county are currently based in the offices at Rayners Hedge, Croft Road in Aylesbury. The Community Paediatricians in the South are based in the offices at Wycombe Hospital, Abbey Place and at Haleacre Unit in Amersham. The children and young people services physio and occupational therapists, health visiting teams, school nurses, safeguarding nursing team, child health are also based in Amersham, although work across the county. The admin support team is based at Haleacre Unit in Amersham and works across the county. This is a comprehensive team which is integral to the smooth running of the service. The Community Paediatric team includes GPs with an interest in community paediatrics, a team of psychologists and a community pharmacy team. In addition we have nursing input from the school nursing team to undertake measurements in school for children on medication. A strong administration team offers excellent support.
