Our client, a well-established and trusted expert within the manufacturing industry based in Cirencester, is currently recruiting for a Payroll and HR Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.
Duties:
-Act as a first point of contact for all managers and employees
-Be responsible for all payroll instructions and ensure preparation in time for the weekly and monthly payroll run
-Liaise with HMRC and pension providers regarding submissions and compliance
-Assist with payroll queries and provide reports as needed
-Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and payroll legislation
-Manage HR functions, including recruitment, training, onboarding, employee welfare and any other HR duties related requirements
-Ensure accurate HR records on all employees as well as assist with HR project work as required
Candidate requirements:
-Previous experience within a similar role
-Positive, pro-active person with a friendly approach
-Ability to use own initiative and take ownership of workload
-Discrete and professional with the ability to understand the sensitivity of information
Salary – up to £35,000 depending on experience, pro rata
Hours – Flexible on hours, approx. 20 hours per week
*Monday availability is essential for this role as this is the day payroll is run.
