Summary

Every day people with chest, heart and stroke conditions are leaving hospital scared and alone. By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland as an Area Manager you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living. You will lead one of our five areas, supporting a group of shops and the teams who make them special.You’ll:Inspire and coach Shop Managers, helping them grow and succeedDrive income and shape great customer experiencesChampion high standards, compliance, and safe working practicesGet involved in new shop openings and the development of our estateBuild relationships in local communities to raise awareness and supportEncourage innovation and help bring new ideas to lifeBe a visible, hands-on leader through regular shop visits and weekend working on a rota This role is varied, purposeful, and full of opportunities to make a meaningful impact. We’re looking for someone who:Has experience leading across multiple retail sitesEnjoys developing people and helping others shineIs confident using data, KPIs, and commercial insight to drive decisionsCommunicates clearly, openly, and with compassionCan balance the practical demands of operations with a warm, people-first approachUnderstands the unique strengths and challenges of charity retailValues diversity, inclusion, and creating welcoming environments for all You don’t need formal qualifications - what matters is your leadership experience, passion for retail, and commitment to making a difference.
