Summary

I am currently recruiting for a nursery practitioner to work within a friendly and supportive early years setting based in Southend-on-Sea. This is a full-time role offering flexibility around working patterns, competitive pay, and on-site parking.

This nursery practitioner position is ideal for passionate early years professionals who are committed to supporting children’s development within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a nursery practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework

  
  

• Creating engaging, age-appropriate activities

  
  

• Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress

  
  

• Building positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and staff

  
  

• Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times

  
  Hours & Pay

  • Hours: Full-time, hours will vary

    
    

  • Pay: From £13.69 per hour

    Requirements

    To be considered for this nursery practitioner role, you will need:

    • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 minimum)

      
      

    • Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting

      
      

    • A good understanding of the EYFS framework

      
      

    • A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach

      
      

    • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
