Summary

Team: UK Cat Centre Veterinary Clinic

Location: Haywards Heath, East Sussex

Work pattern: 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm with 1 hour lunch

Salary: Up to £24,647.86 per year

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities of our Vet Nurse:


Prepare patients and assist the Vet with examinations, surgery and record-keeping
Provide post-operative care of patients
Maintain clinic hygiene
Communicate with cat centre staff to ensure the smooth running of the clinic and rounds
Support veterinary students completing clinical EMS at the UKCC Veterinary Clinic


About the UK Cat Centre Veterinary team:


Our Veterinary clinic team provides care for cats going through the rehoming process, ensuring cats are healthy and ensure consistent welfare led care to the cats in the Cat Centre
Our team is made up of two Vets and two Nurses


What we’re looking for in our Vet Nurse:


Registered Veterinary Nurse
Experience of working in a small animal practice
Experience in a rescue and rehoming in charity
Experience of feral cat trap/neuter/return work
Self-motivation with the ability to multi-task and work independently
