Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in your subject specialism
- Follow school planning or adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
- Support pupils in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and transferable skills
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth handover and consistent learning experience
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in secondary schools across Key Stages 3 and/or 4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Secondary Supply Teacher
- Adaptable and confident working across different subjects and year groups
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
