Summary
Copperdown is a small privately run residential home in Rugeley for both residential and dementia clients with an excellent reputation within the local community, known for it's caring staff and friendly atmosphere. We are currently looking for a Night Care Assistant (21:00 - 07:00). We offer excellent rates of pay and provide a comprehensive training package. NVQ 2/3 would be desirable, although full training will be given and must be willing to complete relevant NVQ's and all training relevant to job role.
Duties include:
- Assisting service users with daily living and personal care requirements including using the toilet, washing & bathing, dressing and undressing, all while ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of each individual.
- Assisting service users to bed at night and assisting to get up in a morning.
Ensuring all checks are maintained throughout the night.
- Assisting service users who have restricted mobility to access all areas required. Regularly attend to service users with reduced continence control.
- Carry out all activities in accordance with the care plan. Practice safe systems of work across a varied range of tasks involved throughout the night.
Housekeeping duties.
DBS is required.
Previous experience in this environment is advantageous.
