Summary
Nursery Practitioner – Maternity Cover (Potentially Permanent)
We are looking for an experienced and caring Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team on a maternity cover basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
Our nursery is a welcoming, child-focused setting, open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm.
Hours
Approximately 30 hours per week
Hours can be negotiated
Working over 4 or 5 days
Some flexibility with hours is required
Availability to work some school holidays
About the Role
Providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children
Supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS
Working as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
Previous childcare or nursery experience is essential
A warm, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Ability to work flexibly when required
Relevant childcare qualification preferred (but experience is key)
