Our Client, a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Hull, is actively seeking a qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Duties:

- Conduct vehicle inspections and repairs in accordance with DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation for testing
- Diagnose faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
- Perform general mechanical and electrical repairs across a variety of commercial vehicles
- Attend breakdowns, including offsite repairs, to minimise vehicle downtime
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring customer vehicles are kept on the road efficiently
- Keep detailed records of repair work and assist with ongoing vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

- Level 3 vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or HGV Technician
- MOT Testing Licence is desirable but not essential
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to use modern vehicle diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high quality standards
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations relevant to automotive repair environments
- Own set of tools suitable for commercial vehicle maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to develop technical skills further
