Your new company
A primary school in the Penwortham area is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a male pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Hays Education consultant, I'm working closely with the school to identify someone who can make a genuine difference to this child's learning experience.
Your new role
The successful candidate will work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil who requires consistent, structured support to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Your role will involve:
- Providing personalised learning support throughout the school day
- Helping the pupil develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits
- Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCo
- Supporting emotional regulation and social development
- Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
