Are you ready to play a key role at the heart of a thriving, high performing trust? The GORSE Academies Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, detail driven HR Administrative Officer to join our central HR team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and wants to make a real difference across multiple educational settings.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be part of a central team that supports leaders, managers, and professionals across the trust. Every day brings something new — whether you're coordinating recruitment activity, supporting onboarding, ensuring HR compliance, or helping staff navigate HR processes with confidence and clarity.

You will be a trusted member of the HR function, ensuring that our systems run smoothly, our documentation is accurate and timely, and our colleagues feel supported. From managing confidential records and administering employment contracts, to assisting with payroll data and helping drive trust wide HR initiatives, your contribution will form an essential part of GORSE’s success.

This role is perfect for someone who:
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work
• Enjoys building positive relationships across different teams
• Wants exposure to a wide range of HR activities
• Has a passion for supporting others and ensuring a great staff experience
• Loves the idea of being part of a collaborative HR network

The successful candidate will gain valuable insight into HR practice within education and be supported by an experienced team who are committed to your professional development. If you’re motivated, organised, and excited by the prospect of contributing to meaningful, trust wide impact, we would love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate:
• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Human Resources (or working towards), with a CIPD qualification preferred.
• Experience of working in a busy office environment.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm, approachable, and professional manner.
• A full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle, as this role requires travel between multiple sites.
