Your Key Responsibilities

As an SEN Teacher, you will design bespoke learning pathways for your pupils. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Creating and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with diverse learning profiles.

  • Adapting the curriculum using P Scales and individualised learning plans to ensure every child can succeed.

  • Cultivating a classroom environment that is secure, structured, and focused on emotional well-being.

  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide a holistic support network.

  • Supporting the dignity and comfort of students by providing personal care assistance when required.

What We Are Looking For

We are searching for a teacher who recognises the potential in every pupil, irrespective of their challenges.

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Proven experience teaching within the UK SEN sector.

  • Expertise in inclusive pedagogy and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively in real-time.

  • High levels of emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a calm temperament under pressure.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
