Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Start Date: August 2026 12 month placement

What you'll be doing;
- Provide support for the preparation and analysis of the financial results for the Northern Europe zone to the Executive Committee and the Veolia Group headquartered in Paris
- Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the business and CFO covering actual and forecast results of the business
- Assist in the preparation of non-trading and dormant accounts as well as the compilation of front-end disclosures for trading entities within the UK Group
- Support the ad hoc preparation of audit & accounting papers through external research and benchmarking
- Assist in the preparation of internal training material for the Finance community
- Support the coordination and completion of surveys for the Office of National Statistics (ONS)
- Support the delivery of Central Finance quarterly team meetings
- This would be an ideal opportunity for a current student or someone who is looking for a year-long placement in finance, accounting, maths, economics, or any other related field
- Degree qualification or currently studying towards a degree qualification
- Good understanding of Google Suite and basic Excel skills, including data formatting and simple formulas
- Good communication skills, an analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and develop professional skills
