We are looking for an approachable and forward thinking SEN Administration Assistant with strong interpersonal skills to join our
supportive and collaborative team. Working alongside staff, children and parents you will be an ambassador for the school
demonstrating a commitment and passion to our mission, ensuring every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality
education.
As the SEN Administration Assistant you will be an efficient administrator with the ability to provide high-level administrative
and operational support to the Inclusion Manager. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the school’s SEND provision is
organised, compliant, and impactful, acting as a key link between the school, external agencies, and families.
If you are engaging with excellent communication skills and have a passion for education, this could be the role for you. As the
SEN Administration Assistant you will be extremely well supported, working alongside a committed team who all share the same
vision of achieving more together.
This is a fixed term contract until 31/08/2027
The ideal SEN Administration Assistant will be someone who is:
* A great communicator who develops positive relationships with young children and adults with a high level of empathy and clarity
when speaking with parents who may be navigating difficult diagnoses.
*The ability to manage multiple deadlines (funding bids, PEPs, and reviews) simultaneously.
* Understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting
* Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
* Consistent in a calm and fair approach
* Able to display a high level of administrative, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to handle sensitive safeguarding and medical information with total confidentiality.
*Familiarity with the SEND Code of Practice and primary school environments.
