Summary

We're looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our flagship HMP Glasgow project



Location: On site - HMP Glasgow, Royston

Hours: 45 hours per week - Monday to Friday



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of multi stoey houseblocks within the assigned work front. Working alongside experienced Site Managers, you'll help coordinate on-site activities, maintain quality standards, and contribute to successful project outcomes in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll be working within the TBC team, supporting them in delivering construction projects safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:

-Managing and directing subcontractor partners to deliver various work packages safely and to schedule

-Ensuring quality standards are maintained through effective supervision and regular inspections

-Coordinating site logistics and maintaining health and safety compliance

-Contributing to problem-solving and finding practical solutions to emerging challenges

-Creating and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Site Manager is great for you if:

-You have experience in a similar role within main contracting and enjoy working in a team environment

-You possess excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with colleagues and subcontractors

-You have a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ) or technical trade background

-You hold an SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification

-You have a genuine commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
