Thoughtfully designed for dementia care, Cedar Lodge provides a supportive environment for up to 42 residents.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Activities Assistant specialising in dementia to bring joy, engagement, and meaningful experiences to the lives of our residents every day. This role is ideal for someone creative, fun-loving, highly organised, and committed to enhancing the wellbeing of older people living with dementia.

What You Will Do
As an Activities Assistant, you will design dementia-friendly activities and programmes tailored to residents’ individual interests and abilities. You will build strong connections with each resident, encouraging social interaction and participation in both group and one-to-one activities. Your role will help residents maintain hobbies, explore new interests, and enjoy stimulating, fulfilling days. You will also maintain accurate records of activities and resident engagement to track outcomes and impact.

- Ability to create and manage engaging activities and events
- A friendly, compassionate, and creative approach to resident interactions
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team
