Part time - 16 hours per week – Monday and Tuesday - 8.30 – 4pm plus 2 additional hours to be agreed in interview.(with optional training provided at a mutually convenient time on 23rd or 24th February)Required from 2nd March 2026In response to a flexible working request we are looking to appoint a well-organised school administrative assistant with good literacy and numeracy skills, who can assist the admin support officer in our busy school office 2 days a week.
The school office is the hub of our happy and friendly school community and the successful candidate must have good communication skills and offer the ability to work well as part of a large team.
The successful candidate will need to be professional, patient and polite in dealing with enquiries and requests from staff, pupils, parents and visitors on a daily basis. The successful candidate will also need to be confident in using ICT on a daily basis. Our admin assistant plays an important role in managing our hire and lettings and our school website, along with inputting daily attendance information (registers) and school meal orders, as well as the arrangement of educational visits and the ordering and cataloguing of school resources.
