Summary
Southville Primary School are looking to appoint a School Meals Supervisory Assistant who is energetic, enthusiastic and a strong team player to support the children during the lunch period ensuring the children enjoy safe and happy lunch times.

Role: School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Key stage: KS2 (although may be required to cover KS1/Early years as needed)
Pay Grade: Bristol Grade 2 Pro-rata (Bristol City Council Living Wage)
Hours: Part time: Monday – Friday (Term time only) plus 9 hours inset days pa
11:45 - 13.30 (1 hour 45 minutes)Timeline for applications:

Specific roles and responsibilities
Our dining hall team supervise the children with their meals and packed lunches. Duties include laying out tables, cutlery, cups and drinking water and ensuring that the environment remains clean and safe.
Our playground team supervise the children in the outdoor areas. Staff are expected to interact with the children while continuing to be vigilant, ensuring safe play.
The ability to be flexible, adaptable and have a positive attitude to work is essential to the role and we are looking for a individual who is prepared to support the school’s ethos.
The post holder will also be expected to:
Support the aims, values, mission and ethos of the school and participate in a team approach to all aspects of school life
Take appropriate responsibility for safeguarding and children's welfare, reporting concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Leads
Be aware of confidential issues linked to home/child/teacher/school and keep confidences appropriately
Be aware of health and safety issues and act in accordance with the school's Health and Safety Policy
All applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring check.
