Summary

Maths Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting schools in a range of environments, delivering Maths lessons across Key Stages as part of general supply cover.Duties as Maths Teacher:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons following provided plans
• Teach across a range of topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
• Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress where required
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of mixed abilities
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptable and comfortable working in various school settings
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
