Summary
The post holder will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the department; considering individual patient needs and prioritising effectively; ensuring that when a patients condition is deteriorating this is communicated and reported to other members of the healthcare team and acted upon in a professional and timely manner. They will seek to actively improve patient care, always leading by example, with an expectation to follow protocols and work in line with the Clinical Governing This role requires strict adherence to prescribed treatment protocols, detailed patient assessment, consent, documentation, and effective multidisciplinary collaboration within the ophthalmology team.
