Summary
The Post holder accepts that they will also perform duties in occasional emergencies at the request of the appropriate consultant in discussion, where practical, with both senior and junior colleagues. The Post holder would not be expected to undertake work of this kind for long periods of time. Medical clearance and in some circumstances examination is required prior to appointment. The Post is covered by the Terms and Conditions of Service of Hospital Medical and Dental Staff and the General Whitley Council.
