Summary
We are looking for a practical, reliable Facilities Manager to join our small friendly team. This is a hands-on role managing building maintenance, health & safety, and event set-ups.
KEY DUTIES:
Day-to-day building maintenance and repairs
Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and records
Manage contractors, cleaning staff and routine servicing schedules
Set up rooms for events and hires (seating, staging, furniture)
Ensure safe use of equipment, including piano moving
Manage bar, cafe and cleaning stocks
ABOUT YOU
Experience in facilities or building maintenance
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH
Practical DIY skills; able to carry out physical tasks including lifting
Organised, reliable, and a clear communicator with good IT skills
Interest in the arts or community sector (desirable)
