Your new role
As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will line manage a small team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to help them perform at their best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing stock control and warehouse systems.
- Ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on 5S and Kanban principles.
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and productive working environment.
- Acting as a self-starter who can put their own stamp on the role and shape the warehouse function as the company grows.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in warehouse management.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- A good working knowledge of WMS and proficiency in Excel.
- Experience using Sage (desirable).
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to lead a small team.
- Ideally, familiarity with lean methodologies such as 5S and Kanban.
