We’re now looking for a Housekeeper to join our established team at Progress Living in Lincoln on a permanent basis. About the role As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an important part in keeping our accommodation clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who stays with us. Working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 to 15:00), with occasional evening or weekend work to support service needs. You’ll carry out a range of daily cleaning tasks, making sure all work is completed on time and in line with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines. Your role will include both planned and occasional tasks such as cleaning rooms and communal areas, changing curtains, cleaning beds and shampooing carpets. You’ll use cleaning equipment safely, including powered equipment where required, and always wear the appropriate protective equipment provided. As someone who regularly interacts with occupants, you’ll respond to any questions or requests in a friendly and helpful way, showing a positive, “can-do” attitude.
