Are you a passionate and inspiring Geography Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and thriving school environment?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geography Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our dedicated faculty at this beautiful school in the charming market town of Ilkley.
The main accountabilities are to:
- a commitment to providing high quality lessons to engage, challenge and inspire our students
- an individual with the ability to teach Geography across the full ability range, including the potential to teach A level depending on the candidate
- a strong commitment to inclusion and personal development, including extra-curricular and enrichment
- a colleague who is inspirational to staff and students and committed to sharing best practice
- a dedicated, passionate and responsive teacher who has resilience and a strong, positive work ethic
We're Looking For:
- A dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Can teach GCSE and A Level
- Experience of teaching Geography
- Create and maintain positive and supportive relationships with staff, parents, and stakeholders
- Engage with appropriate training opportunities to promote professional effectiveness in this role
