Class 2 Driver - Part-Time | Immediate Start | Temp to Perm

The Best Connection is an Employment Business, recruiting on behalf of our valued client.

We are currently seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join a well-established, family-run vehicle tyre collection business. This is an excellent opportunity offering an immediate start, part-time hours during the working week, and the potential for temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving Class 2, 7.5t, and 3.5t vehicles

  • Covering routes across Manchester, Hull, and the North East

  • Collecting used tyres from customer sites and returning them to the yard

  • Assisting with unloading tyres upon return to the yard

This is a physically demanding role. On average, you will complete 4-5 collections per day, handling approximately 320-340 tyres, depending on the vehicle used.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 licence

  • Digital Tachograph Card and CPC (essential)

  • Over 25 years old (insurance purposes)

  • Maximum of 6 minor points

  • No DR, DD, CD, or IN10 endorsements
