Are you a patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils during a crucial stage of their education?
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1. As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in lessons on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.
* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
* Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support pupils' academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children in a primary school or childcare setting is desirable.
* Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and curriculum expectations.
* Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply
* Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
