As an exceptional SEN Tutor, you will possess a deep understanding of various learning styles and the ability to tailor your approach to each student's needs. - Providing individualised, one-on-one tutoring support to students with a range of special educational needs
- Collaborating with our client's team of educators and specialists to develop and implement tailored learning plans
- Utilising a variety of teaching methods, resources, and assistive technologies to engage and support students
- Monitoring student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed, and communicating effectively with parents/guardians
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest SEN teaching practices
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of student support
- Relevant experience working with students who have special educational needs, either in a teaching or tutoring capacity
- A deep understanding of various learning styles and the ability to adapt your approach accordingly
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the flexibility to think outside the box
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential
- A recognised teaching qualification or relevant degree, with a focus on special educational needs
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and their application in the SEN learning environment
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to stay informed of the latest SEN teaching practices
