Summary
SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Pay: £95 - £115 per day (Negotiable depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with various Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of tailored lesson plans and adapting materials to suit individual learning requirements.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress, contributing to individual education plans (IEPs) and progress reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN within a UK school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
