Exciting Temporary Opportunity - Outbound Engagement Officer
£13.00 per hour | 2‑month temp contract | Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm (25 hours per week)
Looking for a meaningful role where every conversation makes a difference? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑known charity and support their amazing community of fundraisers taking part in walks, runs and challenge events throughout the year.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be making up to 50 warm outbound calls per day to individuals who are already supporting the charity. These aren't cold calls - supporters will be expecting to hear from you. Your role is to welcome them, check in on their fundraising progress, offer guidance, and make sure they feel supported every step of the way.
You'll also update information on the charity's database, so strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential. Full training on their systems (including Dynamics) will be provided.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Confident, friendly telephone manner
Previous outbound calling experience
Strong Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Accurate data entry skills
Great attention to detail
Quick to learn new systems
Desirable:
Experience in a call centre or high‑volume outbound role
Familiarity with Dynamics or similar CRM/fundraising databases
