Lead People Advisor Up to £38,000 Hybrid Working - Newcastle 6-month Fixed Term Contract, Full Time Are you an experienced People professional ready to take the lead on complex employee relations, drive positive change, and help shape a growing organisation? Join Cora Health on a 6-month fixed term contract as one of our Lead People Advisors, where you'll play a key role in delivering expert advice, building manager capability, and ensuring every colleague experience reflects our values. We're building a truly modern People function - proactive, trusted, and business-minded - and we're looking for a skilled Lead People Advisor to support us through a busy and exciting growth period. You'll be the go-to specialist for Employee Relations cases, guiding and coaching managers across all parts of the organisation. You'll use data insights to spot trends, support policy development, and contribute to wellbeing and inclusion through your advice. There may also be opportunities to get involved in wider People initiatives and projects - such as change activity, organisational design or TUPE - where these align with business needs during the contract period. Here's a snapshot of the activities and projects you could help drive during the contract period (see full job description for more): Lead complex ER cases including absence, grievance, disciplinary, and capability matters Advise and coach managers through sensitive or high-risk situations, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice Use HR data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Support policy development and review, ensuring alignment with legislation and Cora Health values Deliver manager training and share case learnings to build confidence and capability Support projects including TUPE, change management, and wellbeing initiatives Collaborate with colleagues across Payroll, Recruitment, L&D, and Operations to deliver a seamless People service You'll join a supportive, close-knit People Team - a brilliant bunch who roll up their sleeves, share ideas, and have plenty of fun along the way. About You We're looking for an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused People professional who enjoys driving strategy forwards through hands-on advisory work. You'll be able to demonstrate: Proven experience leading or managing complex Employee Relations cases Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills The ability to analyse HR data, identify trends, and present insights Integrity, empathy, and professionalism when managing sensitive situations Experience delivering training or mentoring HR colleagues A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience in a senior HR advisory capacity) It would also be great if you have: Experience in the healthcare or NHS sector Experience supporting Employment Tribunal cases Exposure to organisational change What We Can Offer You At Cora Health, we believe that investing in our people means better care for our patients.
