Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail focused Sales Administrator to support the sales team and ensure smooth day to day operations.

Location: Office based, Near Duston, Northampton
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Mon-Thu), 8:30am - 4:30pm (Fri)

About the Role
As the Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of the sales function. You will manage customer orders, keep records accurate and up to date, and act as an important point of contact for customers and internal teams. Your work will support the wider sales process and help maintain exceptional levels of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update customer details, pricing files, and product information.
- Monitor open orders, backorders, and delivery schedules, working closely with the sales team.
- Respond to customer queries regarding product availability, order progress, and delivery timelines.
- Support sales campaigns and forecasting by preparing documentation, reports, and data.
- Maintain organised records of purchase orders and sales documentation.
- Produce sales and order status reports for management.
- Contribute to the improvement of administrative processes within the sales function.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team where required.
About You
You will bring experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role, with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. You will be confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, able to multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in sales administration or an equivalent role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Desirable:
- Experience within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or retail.
- Understanding of CRM systems or sales processes.

About the Organisation
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution genuinely matters. This role is based onsite, with occasional interaction with warehouse or operations teams to support order coordination.
