Habitat Nationwide is recruiting a Property Manager (Projects) to manage and oversee property decoration, refurbishment, and renovation projects across our managed portfolio. This is a skilled role requiring experience in property and project management, contractor coordination, budgeting, and compliance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Managing end-to-end property improvement, refurbishment, and renovation projects
Scoping works, preparing project specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
Obtaining competitive quotations and managing tender and bid processes
Appointing, coordinating, and supervising contractors and tradespeople
Managing project budgets, expenditure, and cost control
Monitoring project progress, quality, and timelines
Ensuring compliance with UK health & safety legislation and relevant regulations
Conducting site inspections and addressing issues or variations
Liaising with landlords, clients, tenants, and internal teams
Maintaining accurate project and compliance records
The role requires independent decision-making, commercial judgement, and responsibility for multiple concurrent projects.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in property management, project management, or building maintenance
Experience managing decoration, refurbishment, or renovation projects
Experience sourcing, tendering, and managing contractors and suppliers
Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and project delivery
Working knowledge of UK health and safety requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Information Systems
Salary and Sponsorship Information
Salary: £42,600 per annum
The role meets the skill level and responsibility requirements of SOC 1251
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (Undefined COS) will be considered for eligible candidates, subject to Home Office requirements
