Summary

Early Years Practitioner - Battersea

Make a difference to children's development from a young age as an Early Years Practitioner at an inclusive nursery located in Battersea.

It is essential that you hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, and previous experience working in a childcare setting would be desirable for this Early Years Practitioner role.

This is a nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and a sensory room, as well as regular days out to extend children's learning and stimulate their imagination. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be a valued member of staff, the management team are very supportive and there will be various opportunities to progress in your career and take on further training.

As a qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will: 

• Follow the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills
• Support children with their personal, social and emotional development
• Have knowledge of early childhood development and excellent understanding of EYFS
• Provide a safe, supportive, stimulating and language-rich environment for children
• Encourage development through play and exploration, leading and assisting with activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
• Be able to work collaboratively within a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills

This is a permanent position to start ASAP, and is very rewarding as you'll be making a real difference to a child's early development. Salary from £24k-£27k per annum, and the role is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
