Summary

Secondary Supply Teachers – Flexible short-term and long-term roles available across Somerset and surrounding areas

You will work in a range of secondary schools, covering various subjects and supporting pupils’ learning in dynamic environments.Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across different subjects following the school’s curriculum and policies
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Mark work and provide feedback where required
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress
• Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of pupils

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in secondary schools across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt quickly
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects
