Summary
Corepeople are currently looking to recruit experienced Groundworkers for a job in Alnwick, working on new build housing plots.
Duties Include:
• Site Preparation: Clearing vegetation, setting out boundaries, and making the site safe with barriers and signage
• Excavation: Digging trenches for foundations, drainage, and utility pipes, often using plant machinery
• Foundations: Preparing and pouring concrete for footings and bases
• Drainage & Utilities: Installing drainage systems, pipes, manholes, and connecting to existing services
• Sub-surface Work: Compacting soil and laying sub-surfaces for stability
• Finishing Touches: Laying kerbs, paving slabs, footpaths, and driveways
Requirements:
• Valid CSCS card
• Two working references
