SEN Teacher – SEMH Provision (KS1 / KS2)

Desian Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to work in a specialist primary setting in Wigan, supporting pupils aged 5–11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a experienced SEN Teacher to join a nurturing and supportive school community that places strong emphasis on high expectations, positive relationships, and personalised learning. The role will involve teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, adapting learning to meet individual needs and supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development.

Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience as an SEN Teacher, particularly SEMH, is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management skills with a calm, nurturing approach
Flexible, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
